He has coached foundation and nonprofit leaders through many culture, operational, and organizational change efforts. He worked with a national nonprofit dedicated to childhood health and well-being to lead them through a strategic planning process to develop a new, transformational bold goal and theory of change. Since joining Community Wealth Partners, Walter has supported community development organizations and neighborhood-based partners in developing plans for financial sustainability and building community collaboration. Walter has extensive experience facilitating diverse groups to come to inclusive solutions together, understands what it takes to create change that leads to equitable outcomes, and thrives as a coach and guide to partners in the work. As an Associate Director, Walter Howell leads projects with nonprofit, foundation, and coalition clients, advises and coaches social sector leaders, and works together with teams to conduct research, analyze data, understand stories and experiences, and develop solutions and recommendations for partners.
